spouse income increase change

Hi all so I just read on the internet that to bring your wife to the uk or gf you will need earn 25 thousand pound a year income.

I know it be hard bring our loved ones to the uk but I do admit I couldnt support my wife in uk with my minumum wage :( I would need to study for good job but I do think 25 thousand pound income a year is alot even my dad said he doesnt earn that much a year and he got a good job.

I been with my gf for 3 yrs now met alot hell even met me in thailand to divorce my thai wife I know she loves me soo much but now have to wait to be with me in uk for maybe god knows when sigh have talked about moving to phillippines but not easy do business there read about it alot and be too risky.

What you all think about this income change think it too much?

As it stands right now these proposals have not been implemented. Still quite some discussions to be had.
Additionally the full details of how such income thresholds would be implemented have not been highlighted.

Naturally, if such restrictions were imposed without any reasonable workarounds a lot of people would be impacted. Very sad.

So British families earning only 15k a year will get a 10 grand top up by the Government?
A bit like a minimum income top up?
