Hi. Filipina soon to be in UK need advices

    Hello,

I'm She-Von. God bless me an Englishman who will love me so much unconditionally. After all the tears, sadness and disappointment that I had faced before, now I finally know now the purpose of it. He bless me a man that I deserved to have and treating me like a princess. Thank you Lord.

I'm joining on these forum to start learning what is there in UK by reading those post. Thinking of my future profession so I can do help my partner for our future everyday living.

I am now waiting for the result of my fiancee visa and keep praying for the success of it because my partner needs me to be there soonest, so help us Lord.

While waiting I am thinking of what is my life there, my work there. Is there anybody share their advice please advice me and tell me more about life there in UK. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. I have 2 year work experienced here as accounting staff. Do they acknowledge my degree there incase I want to apply as an accounting staff or a bookkeeper? I still need to study again and need to gain ICB before I can apply as bookkeeper? and what is the best to enrol ICB? NVQ? AAT? Please help. I am confuse.

For any BSA graduate in the Philippines and now in UK working. Please share me some advices.

I want to be a productive wife soon for my love of my life.... please advice me.

And I wish I can meet a group of friends here and soon to be meet in person in UK.

    Thank you.

    She-Von

Hello She-Von... My fiance often tells me it is so difficult to find a job in England because of the so-called recession. But I think, as long as you have the qualification or you are not choosy with the kind of job available, you will be fine... Which part of the UK will you be?

    Hello Jona,

Thank you for your advice. I'm going to live in Cirencester, Glouscestershire. Is that near to you...? Are you in UK now?

I know about recession Jo and I know it's not forever recession in UK. I am just preparing for the future possible opportunities and thinking about do I need to study again. It's ok any kind of work as long as I busy myself. I feel worried on the home sick.

Hello She-von, welcome to the forum

Good luck with your application for Fiancee Visa

You will not be allowed to work at your first arrival to UK. Your will first need to get married and then apply for your FLR (Further Leave to Remain) spouse visa.

The employment market is pretty tough here in UK in these days. It also depends where in the UK you will be living.
When you arrive into UK take a look at the jobs availability in the area where you live and target those you feel you can do and be happy with.

There's a huge variety of different roles to be had within the 'accountancy field", all of which will demand very different levels of skill and/or formal qualifications.
It really does depend on which specific jobs you want. You will almost certainly need to update your qualifications eventually as many jobs within accountancy are quite strictly regulated.

    Good luck

Hello she-von welcome to the forum
Job is only hard to find if you dont look for it....when i came here in uk i did voluntary job first whilst looking for ''any'' jobs , I landed on different jobs doing part time before I get the job I want and which I am into now (Hotel) ...I agree with keeping yourself busy ,our husband is there to support us but its different if you have your own money to spend and share with the expenses...Its going to be work-home-and a little play here in the UK so before you leave the Philippines spend all your time with your family , eat all the food you will be missin and get ready for the UK weather.
    Good luck

    Hello Terpe,

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for your advice. It's helps allot. Yes, I read about FLR more here in the forum and this is the requirements to apply National Insurance Number, because NI is needed to apply work. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

My fiancé want me to go to school if I want so I can build circles of friends there because he is worried that I feel home sick and bored and feel like I want to go home. hehe But of course I won't do that.
That is why your advice is big help Terpe, because I really don't know what to do. Now, I know now what to do UPGRADE MY ACCOUNTANCY BASE ON WHAT I WANT TO DO.

    THANK YOU TERPE....
