I honestly find it hard to believe that there can be anywhere worse in the world to drive than Manila. I took my licence the first time I went and after being picked up at the Airport and being driven to Malabon quickly decided that there was no way I would ever drive in Manila. A good thing really because I really enjoyed travelling on the LRT and using the Jeepneys and Taxis in Manila are cheaper than Buses in London.

Yeah I agree with Graham, its great fun driving in Manila, no worries. Now imagine the Manila driving style, but instead of doing 5-10mph (the normal speed in the Philippines), but doing it at 70 - 100 mph, thats how driving is in the Middle East.... :-) Your doing 70mph down the highway and some guy decides to swerve across you or try the whole aggressive driving, one of the highest death rates on the road where I live, all at nice high speeds.

What I can't work out is how Monaco gets so high on the list, I mean ok during the grand prix I can imagine it gets a bit frustrating trying to overtake when some schumaker is cheating again, but seriously the place is totally fine most of the time. Driven in Monaco many many many many times, and always found it quite pleasant, although if you try to follow the GP track you'll be going against the flow of traffic in most places lol
