I have introduced a new thread on the forum so people can start a new post if they wish to either get to know or meet folks in the area, or for those coming to the UK to easily find people who live nearby (well within say 50 miles'ish)
Basically, unless you are a hermit, the majority of you should start your own post. Just state which town you live in.
