Barclays Bank...they even gave us hard time with our bank statements, we requested 6 times for the statement but nothing came...we make a letter instead that we will submit the additional document as soon as it arrives. Received the letter of confirmation about a week after.

Hi Caree and Moy, im on my FLR before i file my ILR.
Maybe that's the new policy now that if you are on spouse visa you don't need to do biometrics......Caree, naku nakakainis nga yan, hehehehe. I know how you feel, just keep on praying, dont worry. Was thinking and hoping that after my biometrics everything is alright now. Is there anyone here who's on the same stage as mine??? want to know how long do we have to wait after the biometrics?
I applied for my ILR (10 yrs Long Residence) on the 29th March. On the 12th I received a letter to go for my BRP. Post office failed to read the bar-code, so booked an appointment for the 18th May. The application was straight forward and no explanations or cases. I am wondering, how long, approximately, will it take before I hear from them? Has anyone had any experience?
Hi chemu, same here applied last march 22 for my ilr< done with my biometrics and now waiting for almost 2 months, no feedback yet from the Home office, I dont know how long will it take, but some say usually take 3-6 months? im not sure.
Still waiting too. On my 12 weeks now of waiting. Had my biometric last April. Lodge my application 5th of March. I hope we get our visas soon. x
Hi Dee31, did you apply for ILR too??

''Don't be serious..Be Sincere''
Hi, submitted 10 letters..as i remember... gas, bank statement, water bill, council tax are both under our names then the rest are just on my name with the same address for two years. good luck on your application.

@ Sars.. a friend of mine has done that, and yes you will your BRP there as well. x
@ hello mel sis x
I wonder if those of you who are waiting for the result have received your (or your spouses') supporting application documents back yet? My wife applied for ILR three months ago, just two weeks ago they asked for the biometrics information and nothing more since...they have my passport and I have a flight booked for 4 weeks from now, thinking I'm likely to have to miss that...would've thought they could have just photocopied and returned, but this is the civil service of course so no amount of unecessary beauracracy is too excessive.
Yorkie, you should have used the local authority checking service.
They'd have photocopied your passport, and returned it to you immediately.
No man is an island, but Barry is
Ah didnt know that, the problem with dealing with the civil service (well one of them) is that they dont really offer any information whatsover, you have to find out everything yourself. I've asked them to return my passport which I was told would take up to 4 weeks, but I very much got the impression that the person I was speaking to wasnt going to do a damned thing especially after she tried to end the call saying she'd get it sent out and I had to say 'but you havent asked my name yet'
Of course it takes 25minutes+ to get to speak to a person too, which is infuriating to say the least. If I find it infuriating having to deal with departments of the civil service, I can only imagine what its like for those who are relying on them for things of much higher importance, like their ILR of course. I guess there's a reason why after revolutions they tend to shoot all the civil servants.
Just done biometrics today....so lets see how long we have to wait for ILR and documents returned
