    Help with spouse visa application please...

    hello! i'm just wondering if someone out there had the same dilemma as me and my husband. i am about to apply for a spouse visa but im a bit worried as me and my husband do not have any savings in our banks at all. we have not been overdrawn ever on both our accounts but we are a bit unsure...if someone had the same experience and still had their visa approved we would appreciate any advice you can give! thank you!

    Hi there my name is Patrick I live in Ballycastle county Antrim
    My wife spouse visa app was submitted on the 20th of February
    I can't understand how or why it takes so long the stress is killing us then the uncertainty will they grant the visa
    This experience makes me feel much bitterness and anger towards the brittish government
    It's a crime against human progress

    it is stressful just thinking about submitting our application, i think at the end of the day my husband can always come home with me back to the philippines im just worried he might not be able to adjust to the lifestyle...either way we do not want to get separated just because we are of different race, it is sad that we need to go through a whole process like this and put our future in the hands of people we don't even know and who don't even know us either!

    I thought the application had been submitted on 20th of March 2012 as I remember bumping to the previous thread you posted on19th of March 2012.

    Counting from 20th of March until 4th of May would have been 6 weeks of waiting already excluding the holidays on April 5, 6 and 9 and of course the weekends.

    I'm sure your wife's visa will come through very soon. Just keep on praying and don't be stressed too much because the visa is surely granted especially if the relationship is genuine. Best of luck and God bless
    GOD has perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and faith, but it's worth the wait

    ... SHOULDN'T be necessary assuming your husband is British, and been a taxpayer all his working life!

    Besides, I read somewhere recently, that savings aren't the be-all and end-all ... so long as the sponsor is not *overdrawn (which your husband - and sponsor - *ISN'T!).

    Well bearing in mind one of our members has recently been asked to provide upto date statements to prove his savings, perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea to at least show some savings. Could your husband not seek the help of family to at least show something in an account prior to submitting your application.

    hello!

    it's me again ^_^ i have another question if anyone can help me please...i am reading the documents checklist and saw "police registration certificate" is it necessary for me to have that? also on section 7.5 there is a question "when did you meet your partner" we put in the date we met online, but we are a bit unsure, should we put the date when we actually met each other in person? and so the other question follows 7.6 "where did you meet?" we met ONLINE first but then-well that's our dilemma ^_^ if anyone answered that question would you kindly share it to us please! thank you in advance! we have booked an appointment already and is checking our documents! >_< it is very stressful ^_^;

    Hi chiechie, I would ignore that 'police registration certificate' coz its not necessary. For 'when did you meet your partner' question - I put the date of our first face-to-face meeting on that one. Be honest where did you meet, so maybe you can say, we met on a dating site called xxx or on a discussion forum. Good luck!
