I have recently lodge my Fiancee Visa Application and one of my main concern before was how to pay for the Settlement Visa fee of Php 59, 472.00 by not carrying that big amount of money me self to pay at the nearest Union Bank near the ECO Plaza Building in Manila like what other people did.
I heard that the British Embassy will accept Manager's Check from BPI and any registered Philippine Banks. Since, I don't like the idea of carrying that amount of money in Manila, I chose to pay the fee using BPI.
STEPS TO AVAIL FOR BPI's MANAGER's CHECK:
1st: You should have a BPI account in order to apply for a Manager's Check.
2nd: Go to the nearest BPI bank and ask for an Application Form for Managers Check and do not forget to bring one VALID ID (Passport, TIN, Drivers License and other Government Issued ID's)
3rd: Fill up the form. Customer Information (account name, account number, address, PURPOSE, phone number and date of birth), For my/our account and responsibility (Payee should be British Embassy and Receiving is also British Embassy) then signatures. Double check your infos before submitting the form.
*They will deduct the VISA FEE AMOUNT from your BPI account including a Php 50.00 service charge.
4th: Upon receiving the check, kindly double check the details and make sure that they put the CORRECT AMOUNT for the VISA FEE. Also, fill-up the blanks at the back of the check using your infos. Keep the PINK PAPER that BPI attach on the managers check because that serves as your copy or receipt.
*You dont need to photocopy the check.
Hope this one will help.![]()
