I am having the same problem but I hope we can sort it out soon. My husband wants to add my name on his bank account to make it a joint account apparently, and the bank needs a proof of address on my name. We sorted out Tenancy agreement in joint names but the bank manager said Its not acceptable, so we are now trying to add my name on the electricity and water bill. Hopefully It will work then.
