Does beg the question that you could be treated by a doctor who hasn't passed his own exams. Sentenced to 12 months but no mention of deportation.
not so easy to do that if your a doctor, if your non EU you've got to take Plab exams, where they want to see your passport, also need to register with the GMC who want your passport again and will do checks on you.
serve anything over 12 months and they are recommended for deportation.
