newbie... need advise to apply for student visa in UK

hey guys,

i thought i'd join in on this interesting filipino UK forum.

i guess i have to introduce myself first i'm mae, currently studying in malaysia under the university of london external programme. i'm planning to study in the same university for my final year.

i need some advise though, how do i go through the process of applying for a student visa? should i have the offer letter from the university first? (same process i went through here in malaysia) coz i've read something about a six (6) month period where no visa (probably referring to student visa) is required.

i'd really appreciate any advise. thanks!

try checking the british council website first...and look for approved colleges and universities there before even starting your application. they have all the guidelines there for international students.
