Hello Juvyjones, Aronbabev & to everyone here. I got my spouse visa yesterday. I am confused as regarding on my visa date it says "valid from" 26th june 2012 until 26th sept 2014.

My question is: I am allowed to travel in UK this month of May or I will wait until my valid date?

To be honest with you, I wouldn't be certain either and would do the same as you and ask. It is just that it seems to suggest you would have to wait....


We didnt have that problem as my wife's visa was dated virtually the same day as the date that she received it.

Hi JOhn_10 Congrats !! ...have you done your CFO? the CFO will not issue a sticker on your passport until the validity of your visa.

Yes we're afraid you will have to wait until 26th of June before you can travel to UK. But you can get the seminar done now and just go back to the CFO on 26th of June for the sticker.

Congratulations again. while waiting for the validity of the visa, might as well plan your flight, and booked. Uk will be more busy for the coming Olympics on July.

if you didn't maybe they made a mistake
your visa is only valid between those 2 dates..

What you mean about "your visa is only valid between those 2 dates"?
