    visas

I applied for a visitor visa for my fiancee from the Philippines. We got turned down saying they did not believe she would return. I think our original application could have been better. Our circumstances are that we have been together for three years. I lived on the Philippines for over a year in 2009. We have a home being built there. I work in Uk full time and do not claim benefits. We do not plan to settle in the UK. I just would like her to be here while i work in UK for 8 months of the year. I was told by a solicitor that the chances are she will be turned down again even when we marry in the Philippines next month. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Phil

you could be refused a family visit visa even when your married if you live in the UK, as the embassy could state your applying for the wrong type of visa, if you live in the UK then she should be applying for a settlement visa.
when your married apply for a settlement visa, why would you want to apply for a visit visa ?
