    getting involved in topics

dont you sometimes wonder why did you get involved in conversations on here and other sites, people want to kill you if you dont agree, thats what it seems like, and in the end you think they must be right too, well i have learnt my lesson i think, well untill next time, and why is it the thick ones always come back agreeing with the other thick ones that they are right

Ah, that's why I prefer to keep Facebook separate to here.

Best policy is not to get involved in so called "Social Networks" full stop

Hmm ... ... I've been asked - on several occasions in the past - to help out a co-forumer (who's also a FB member) with [usually] her visa queries.

Nowadays ... ... I simply tell the person to post any such questions on the main forum ... where she's likely to receive a wider range of answers.

Well, many discussions on here are about visa application details, and I haven't reached that point yet, so not really got too involved.

However I sometimes add my 2p to another site (rhymes with Flip Capsizer) and it is amazing how often folks forget that 2 different people could have completely different opinions about what makes a good holiday, and shock horror BOTH MIGHT BE RIGHT !!! for their own individual circumstances.

i did not realize that holidays was part of my divorce, it was stated if i did not get my way i was never happy, the trouble with that they always asked where we are going, i gave so many places and i gave them the choice

I didn't go to mine (if you DO go ) or make any statement in my defence of being 'unreasonable' about my ex committing adultery on numerous occasions....whereas I'd remained faithful throughout AND reared her kids.

What would have been the point ?

The bloke is always 'wrong' anyway....not helped by the crap that her solicitor dreams up.

I left it up to her to do the work, and pay for it.

As long as I could have full access to my boy, which I did, and he wasn't mentally damaged....fine.

I once became a flame grilled whopper on a certain movie discussion site I've been a member of for nearly 12 years.
My crime - I put in the sentence in a discussion about Star Trek "of course, it isn't real"

Anyone by the reaction to that would think I'd just asked them for the key to their grannys chastity belt
