    Language Test for Fiance Visa

My fiance will be applying for a fiance visa shortly, she is currently in Vigan and 38 weeks pregnant.
Can anyone please advise what english language certification she will require to apply and where she can acquire it (any test places near Vigan?) and approx costs

    thanks so much

She can take IELTS or TOEIC..type them in the search bar at the top right and there are threads about them in the forum.

    Hi!

She can take IELTS if she like but its around 13 days before she get her result after she took and done the 4 components of IELTS. The test will cost you around P8,640 something, she only needs to get flat 4 to meet the English requirement.

Here's the list of the cities where she can take IELTS Test; Manila, Baguio, Bacolod, Naga, Iloilo, CDO, Cebu, Davao and Zamboanga.

If shes near in one of the cities then I suggest that she should inquire first in a registered review centre or contact British Council or IDP Australia in Manila to register for a test.

This link will provide more details. Hoping it will help your queries. Cheers!!

Thanks for the replies, Baguio seems to be the nearest centre, maybe 100 miles away.

I assume we need to wait for the test to apply for the fiance visa? We will also need to wait for the baby's passport to come through anyway.

Assuming the bump is yours, did it really take you 38 weeks to get to this stage?

I hope the test goes OK. Good luck to you both.
