Viva Espana - We're in Alicante

Marvie and the kids arrived from Muscat into Alicante on Friday, they actually arrived about the same time as we docked. So I headed upto the airport and picked them up, and the kids were happy. We went to the car hire place where i'd prebooked who decided they needed my passport (I didnt have it with me), and in the end we had the car in Marvie's name, so she's enjoying the spanish roads at the moment.
They are here for 11 days, and we've managed to get a nice serviced apartment between Alicante and Benidorm (Pueblo Acantilado Suites) for just 35 quid a night.

Searched all over Carrefour for Soy Sauce yesterday and only ended up with Dark Soy Sauce. I tried to make Adobo with it, and it gave it quite a bitter taste in comparison to normal or light soy sauce.

I'll introduce them to Benidorm today, might even treat ourselves to a nice bit of English food, true brits on tour :-) We'll find that hotel from the TV program Benidorm lol.

I really enjoyed Spain whenever I was there and wherever we went. My favourite place is Barcelona.

My ex wife's mother used to go there every winter, when she was older, for about 2 or 3 months as it was so much warmer there...she said it helped her arthritis.
