Unless it's included in her ticket....Travel Tax.

Was p1620 for a long time.

You need to look into that for current charge.

Filipinos pay it at a special desk before check-in.

Basically she needs to be carrying about p3000 in cash to also allow for the odd snack etc.

Yep, they certainly know how to screw their own. Charge you for leaving your own country.

    That's about right

    I've just come from NAIA

Travel Tax was P1620 (Filipino or foreigner staying more than a year?)
Terminal Fee was P550, although rumoured maybe going back to P750 soon
    ACR-I holder P2880

You can pay the Terminal fee in $ or P, but not the ACR has to be P
Travel tax was automatically on my Cathay Pacific ticket, not sure how they worked out I needed it as I was not ask for Immigration status when booking.

Its more funds in the Philippines

    Its more funds in Philippines
The ACR fee is ECC Fee P700
    Head Tax P250
    RP/SRC fee P1400
    Legal research Fee P30
    Express Lane Fee P500
    total P2880
Then the Philippine Travel tax of P1620 is added then P550 (or P750)
So as a foreign resident the cost of leaving is P4050 or P4250.
I will prepare P4250 to cover the immigration fees next week for a P2046 peso flight to Cambodia
Its this Express fee that gets up the nose of the expats
There's no choice. It would be easier to swallow if they called it Foreigner Rip-Off fee or just added the cost onto the ACR fee
