I'm recently here in York also (Bishopthorpe) awaiting an application to get my wife here.

It would seem there are a few members and there is a trip to Scarborough and a Fiesta in Rowntree park both in June, hope to see you both there

I'm from York.

My 22 year-old step-daughter is a Filipina, but away at Uni' now.

I also have a 25 year-old Filipino step-son, again flown the nest, plus my 50% Filipino 18 year-old son who lives with me.

The ex-wife's Filipina cousin lives on the next street to me.

Quite a few in York.

I'll be going along to the Barrio Fiesta at Rowntree Park next month.

I'll be solo.

Would bring my son to give me some credibility, but I know exactly what his (teenage) reaction will be.

Last time he was at Rowntree Park he was playing in his band.
