Thanks for the flight info Tom and hope you have a great time in the Fil I did when I travelled to meet Anilyn in June 2006, she was all I dreamed of when I finally met her, but she nags a little now, must be the stress of all these Visa Applications etc I nag too sometimes But we both Love Each Other and our dreams are coming true for us both I have never been happier, except when of course the system makes it difficult for us to be together, but we will get through this and so will you too

All my mates joked about lady boys as they do in here but there was just Aking Marikit Na Anilyn waiting for me at the airport

Will post more Tom You have lots of good advice in here and still only just starting down the road to being with your girl Mentally prepared I thought I was but it is draining, you become a solicitor and secretary photo copy boy etc all in one while holding down a job and all the time you have to be away from your girl :( It hurts but knowing if you do everything right she will be able to stay with you and all the time we have to keep records of every conversaition and catergorise, I feel like I am a librarian too

Yeah some lady boys are prettier than some of my ex GF's

Take lots of Photos Tom in December You will need them for the Fiancee Visa etc and also to look back on when you are both away, it helps a little

yes, I'd say im mentally prepared, coz i am committed to a particular and very focussed end - the end being, me and my asawa together forever in happiness and harmony, so any temporary setback that happens along the line, is just -- well, a temporary setback certain things i can live without, but love isn't one of them. Love over the email and "instant messenger" is hard, for sure, but it's cool with me -- small investment for our growing old together

we have saved almost every IM chat we have had
we have every email saved
we save all our moments, for US now .. . but for the ECO or whoever later on

again, ladyboys are fun . . . twice the fun

i remember a few years ago a story in a newspaper that a english guy in his 20's was chatting to an american sinlge young lady, after a while chatting online, he went to the states to meet her for a couple of weeks, when he landed at the airtport his first shock was she was in her 70's !!!, so he thought he better go to her home, as he didnt want to waste the trip, so he stayed at her place, and one day opened the freezer, only to find a body in the freezer, it was her dead husband who died of a heart attack, and it turned out she kept him in the fridge, and didnt tell the police, as she wanted to keep claiming his pension !!! so when you get there check the freezer :o)

Thanks for the info - i was having problems finding any seat. Especially for the return. It is ok, i have my flights and i am happy. Anything is better than sitting alone at Christmas wondering why this seems to happen year after year.
I will be in Fil, enjoy the sun and culture and have Christmas with a family who appear very nice - i am a happy bunny

hello mark!! hope u enjoy ur trip to cebu... really a very nice place and people...was assigned there for a couple of years and unfortunately learnt only...to answer the phone...."hello!! Kinsa ni?? means hello who is this? and also...kaapoy means tiring...hummmm nagawas means he's out... but i really gained weight there because of delicious fresh seafoods...yummy....and mind you..it's really cheap compared here in manila...expensive and double dead.... if only i could have another chance to go back there...i will coz i miss those people who took care of and my laundry as well....when i was there....theyre so good to me...they spoilt me..as if i'm the boss.............dont forget to have a taste of their rice wrapped in a coconut palm...or im not sure if that's a banana leaves...all i know was its really.............. kanamit gyud!!!

Where in the Philippines you're going? But anyway, anywhere you are for sure you're going to enjoy your trip there, loads of beautiful places to go to and of course to top it all you'll be with your lovely girl.
