As you have yet to meet I too would urge you not to make visa plans until after you have met and had a chance to sort your feelings for each other out.

I married a Filipina in 2008, I loved her very much but it was a one sided marriage all she wanted was the visa and air fare

I ended up divorcing her.

I hope all does work out for you both.

It really depends on the person involved, but for my guy Im willing to risk.
I hope you too find your right woman, just be careful in picking Most Filipinas are good ones thou.
