I was due to go out for a day with some fishermen at our local beach and go for Dorado, Yellow Fin Tuna, Marlin etc etc, at Christmas time, but the weather was a bit poor then so I never went, but it is on the cards for next time. So, it is possible, just get friendly with some locals with boats.
