Something else that they've been turning a blind eye to for the past 40 years...while the rest of us have had to obey the EXISTING laws of the land.
I think it comes under child abuse.
Mind you I wish I could have a say in who my daughters marry or at least be able to shoot the ones I dont like
Ex Labour MP Ann Cryer spoke on this years ago, and was vilified for it (though if she'd been a tory, you can bet the false outrage would have been a lot worse).
The problem is, getting people in "a certain community" to actually testify. You can be sure it will still go on, and if any of them want to complain, the entire family will pile on the pressure, then their friends, then the religious leader - until the complaint is withdrawn
Quite right.
This is what happens when political-correctness takes precedence over the law of the land.
