IVA does,nt show up on bank statements as i,m led to believe but does show up on his wage slips so it will be spotted on visa application but only if they ask for pay slips.now IVA is a percentage type agreement to more you earn the more you pay so there is no incentive to work overtime .for a fixed period of 5 years then all debt is cleared my friend is half way through his and he said it hurts like hell it leaves him very little to live on so i think it could affect your application to a degree because you will be an added expense to his out goings .but i,m hoping that they will give you the visa but just be prepared in case they refuse i hate to here anyone getting turned down for visa so good luck and keep us in touch of the outcome.
