Sorry for the delay in answering I've been away.

Your life seems as confusing as mine ;D

You should get as much paperwork as possible, especially concerning the mariage, as entry to the UK can be a pain in the ass. I always recommend supply much more than they ask for, and as much proof of everything as you can get your hands on, as it proves your commitment to the immigration services.

Re: want to marry and travel together

I,m still confused...The problem will be with the british embassy.
I have spoken to the Italian consul...and told me for entry to Italy there are no problem but the problem will be the british ...as well he told me ,like you to get all necessary documentations .thank you...
I will be travelling to Davao this sunday 16...and be with my girlfriend for 3 weeks.....
By the way anybody like to travel to the davao and sorrounding provinces I suggest Singapore Airline From london Heathrow to Changi arriving there at 07:15 and connect to Silk Air(3 flight per week) leaving Changi for Davao via Cebu at 09:15.Arriving at Davao Int Airport at 15:00. By the way the Davao Int Airport is newly opened as is beautiful and clean..with fast exit and friendly officials....
In the Philippines I suggest travelling with PAL mabuhay class. The service is fantastic and the cost is only a couple 0f 10Pounds more exspensive...Is worth it.Maurizio

I always use SIA. It's non-stop to Singapore so saves time & hassle, and as they now own Silk Air you get the service you expect from SIA.

    Davao, yuck, horrible place ;D

If you look here http://194.203.40.90/default.asp?pageID=106 this is the UK Immigration advice.

With the UK tightening up the laws all the time it's a pain in the ass. Our friend in Davao has had hassle trying to get over here to marry her husband, but it looks as though she'll be here in a month or two after 10 months of being piddled around.

The other site you need is http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/servlet/Front?pa...d=1006977149953

    Hope this helps.

Re: want to marry and travel together

Regarding Maurizio, and the problem he has, it might be a good idea for him to go back to the Divorce County court where he obtained his divorce decree absolute and take the absolute decree to the district registry and apply for a "No impediment to Marriage" certificate, its £25.00, that should do the trick, then he needs to go to the Italian Embassy in Manila or consulate in Cebu if their is one, and get a "Legal Capacity for marriage" and then he should be ok.

I think thats the required procedure.

    Best regards

    pete
