Crackdown on migrants saves taxpayers £1bn

    it's shot to £1bn now

Immigration minister Damian Green said the changes – expected to cut the number of migrant spouses and family members by up to 10,000 each year – would also improve social cohesion because such migrants were among the least likely to learn English, to work or to integrate fully into society.

    £1,000,000,000/10,000 = £100,000 hang on, thats over 10yrs
each partner will cost £10,000 a yr to the taxpayer

£100,000,000 exactly what osborne gave back to the rich at the budget , some people estimate its alot more than £100m

On the cohesion thing, he's probably right...what you need to remember is, the English speaking Filipino form a very small percentage of people coming here.

... *himself included, most probably - thus proving my point in the thread entitled 'Osborne & Little' - about the Osborne clan "not being short of a bob or two" while he's "papering over the cracks" in the economy.
