    Post England 1-0 Ukraine

Wayne Rooney is the hero as England claim a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ukraine to top Group D and set up a quarter-final with Italy.

As you know Joe I've alway's rated him

TBH he'll never get a simpler nod in and he found the gaping acres available - Carroll would have put it over the bar

We're owed a bit of luck though...considering past injustices to us.

I thought Ukraine were a very good side and played well. They were unlucky.

The England team were very sluggish during the first half (it WAS hot), but an international team with their training facilities and on their wages need to do better.

Good luck to the new manager....so far so good.
