    Bank statements

Hello, how hard is it to obtain a bank statement from Halifax?we almost had all the docs except my hubby's bank statements and this cause us arguments.they sent him a statement but it only shows his incoming wages and withdrawals but it dont reflect his savings(coz hubby says his savings is separate)and bank said they need his permission so they will print what we need but now they tell him again that statement will come from main branch and only comes once a month.
My hubby is doing online banking,is there any other way to get his bank statement?like printing his transactions online and let the bank stamp and sign it?this is really frustrating for both of us coz we are delayed by a month already,we hoping we can lodge our application 1st week of July. Please i need your advice again

I just logged into my Halifax account online. I have a current account and a savings account. You can view the recent transactions, and select 'Print'. Then go to 'Previous' page and do the same for however many pages/months you need. This works for both the current account and the savings account. Then take them into a Halifax branch and ask to verify and stamp them. This is all I did for my statements (except it was with Barclays).

I believe you will need to submit both your hubbys current account and savings account statements. Thats what we did.

In essence, I did the same as Trefor.

I thought all banks were very similar when it coming to online banking and obtaining statements, that is one of the benefits of banking online. I bank online with Natwest and can print a bank statement off from as far back as 7 years.

if you dont have documents named on both of you it will be fine to send documents on one of each name as long as you got the same address

same thing happened to me and my husband, he requested for the statements more than a month before we need it but a week before our appointment with the PEO it did not arrive. he called his bank and 3 days later a print out of his statements with Halifax's stamp on it came through the post. Barclays is quick on requests like this ^_^ i got mine in just a weeks notice although they said it would take 10 days.

if all else fails, i agree with Trefor, just print it out and have it stamped ^_^
    goodluck!

@leen, ic can u post what documents are prepared to submit? We are still on the process of getting all the required docs, however i would also like to see what others have submitted/prepared. Just to compare ours. Is personal statement from me still required? Or just from my husband?
