Rolled back to £1.40 in Asda. Just supping on a super chilled one
Also filled up on their diesel @ £1.347 / litre

I'm trying to avoid buying alcohol.
My posts are bad enough when sober.
I could do with a cold one at this moment. looks good
I don't often drink Heineken, but at that price I'll get some in.
Besides Asda is right next door to my local Waitrose so no need to make an extra journey.
Heineken isn't a bad beer, although bizarrely I always preferred the cheap recipe they phased out a few years back, about that time they tried to become a more "upmarket" drink.
Cheaper doesn't have to mean nasty. Canned Carlsberg is surprisingly okish and flavoursome (For a lager of course). I've never plucked up courage to try Tesco Value lager mind. Might as well just pee in a soda stream and chill that
Not such a good deal, but I'm enjoying 3 bottles (660 ml) of San Mig for £5 from Tesco. Not the same stuff as you get in the Philippines, though.
Just got back home with my 10 bottles for £14
Not chilled enough just yet, but they're there when I fancy.
Nice tip Dedworth, please keep them coming
I'm quite a fan of your shopping tips
I look forward to some 'jolly' posts...unless the alcohol makes Dedworth even more grumpy of course.
Just about to crack open one
They've upped it to £1.50 but still a cracking buy - grabbed a case of 12 tonight
Yep I've been watching it also and have taken advantage only today.
Just lately been stocking up Carlsberg at special promo prices, but just doesn't taste the same does it.
I'll be at Asda tomorrow and pick some up.
I've actually become quite a regular there thanks to you and pick up plenty of good value bargains.
Cheers Terpe - they're doing 660ml Becks at £1.55.
I know it's from the Fatherland and Reinheitsgebot but I've always been a Heineken man since doing many student tours of the old A'dam Brewery (sadly no longer brewing and re-jigged as the Heineken experience - you can still get a few down your neck though)
I learned to drink anything from the beer vending machine in reception when I lived at 'Travelers Hostel' in Hong Kong...with us being on the 16th floor and often 30 minute waits at the lift.
Aldi are doing french stubbies ' £3.15 for 10 bottles which is quite a bargain for 4.8%ABV, far better than tasteless carlsberg export.
A surprising heads up for Tesco big 660ml bottles of Heineken, Becks, Tiger and Deens favourite under licence Spanish San Mig all at £1.50.
I stopped buying Tiger when the stuff sold in the UK ceased to originate from Singapore and is knocked out by Peoples Beer Factory No 89 Guangdong, PRC
Blinkin drunkards.
Lord knows what my posts would be like on here after I'd had one or two.
Asda sold out of Heineken
Too late to get to Tesco
Looks like I'll have to get some from my local Co-op
I'll go for you Peter.
Our Tesco is 24 hours.
