Thailand: Don?t Deport Pregnant Migrant Workers

Thailand?s government should scrap the labor minister?s proposed regulation to deport migrant workers who become pregnant.

I thought there were contraceptives available to all these days.

I can see why the Thai government would want to adopt this approach to irresponsible people who presumably applied to come to work rather than to procreate.

I think we need to keep in mind who it is that migrates to Thailand.

By and large we are looking at Burmese and Laotian refugees.

I'd rather have the Yanks doing it than the Chinese.
