    Where do you obtain Marriage license after you presented your CFI & had it converted

    Where do you obtain Marriage license after you presented your CFI & had it converted in the Manila British Embassy. Assuming the 10 day wait is over?
    Do i have to go back to the Embassy?
    2. Will it be sent to my finacee home?

    Hi John,

    The new local CNI and all the gathered papers from you both is taken to your local municiple which should be in the town where you intend to get married. It is procssed there which takes the 10 days, you can then pick up the licence to marry and tie the knot. No more trips to the embassy.

    Exactly, as above, very easy just take the CNI, CENOMAR for BOTH people etc to the City Hall or Municiple Submit and wait 10 days.

    However, this is only for civil weddings, if you decided to have a church wedding there are some extra processes involved in obtaining the marriage license.

    I will me marrying in a church so can you advise on the extra processes? my girls pastor will perform the service who has a lega status to validate the marriage certificate.
