My house was on Malabanias Rd Jamie, the road that runs from the back of Petron down to Hensonville, so I remember when Hotel Hana was first built and opened. It started off well, but seems to have deteriorated over the years.
I was never there for the bars (honestly... lol), but for the business from the expats and because I had friends and relations already there and running businesses. Just generally an easy place to live compared with some, plus schools accustomed to expat's kids.
I'd prefer to be in Subic now though...if not further afield
