I was looking to see if you'd pass our old house in AC and then got distracted by some other Angeles vids on that youtube page.

I lived there for a few years of course, but had to behave myself because the family were with me also.

Anyway, looks like you had a great time with some lovely people.

I'm not at all envious.

You seemed to get good weather in Boracay!

Its just over a year since we were there. Left Boracay on June 23rd 2012.

JayJays looks pretty good...

Because we took the majority of pics in sunny weather it didn't paint the whole picture, although overall the weather was quite good seeing it was the rainy season.

The first four days were spent in Angeles and it didn't rain at all. It was partly cloudy with hazy sunshine. It did start to drizzle in AC on our way to Boracay on the Wednesday and was more heavy from Kalibo onwards.

The first three days in Boracay had a pattern. Sunny with a bit of cloud in the morning then overcast with showers. The third and fourth day had particularly heavy and more prolonged showers but the next three days were glorious.

When we got back to Angeles it was raining but the final couple of days were sunny.

Jay Jays is an excellent hotel, the best we've stayed at out of the 6 in the Phils. Great hospitality, big clean modern room (2200p low season) and away from the noise of trikes & bars.

Originally we were going to stay in San Fernando but a couple of days before I was due to leave, Maria suggested that we stay in Angeles. It probably saved about £60 on taxi's or the hassle of getting to SF via jeepney/bus.

We stayed at two hotels either side of going to Boracay, Rumi Apartelle and Hotel Hana - both around 1000p per night but I could only recommend the former.

I'm glad we stayed at Angeles, it's an interesting place On the same level as Boracay in terms of people in the street trying to make you part with your cash. But instead of jet ski rides, helmet diving and sunglasses it was viagra and girly bars.
