Hopkins test manila

My wife took her english test at the hopkins centre in manila in june 2011. She passed in speaking and listening. No problem. We plan to apply for her visa in april 2013. I will have earned over 18600 by then and will have my p60 to prove it. The school told my wife it would be valid for 2 years.

I know there is a new test due in october 2013. Are we ok to go with this test she took in june 2011?

The change for October 2013 will be for a higher level (B1) for settlement visa.
Seems unlikely that UKBA will accept a lower level after the downdate.
