    Hi guys,

    Thanks for your replies

anyways I have a new question. With all these changes, we are thinking of applying for a Visit Visa for him instead. In this case, my mom will be acting as Full Sponsor. Is there any minimum income threshold for a visit visa sponsor?

Our main reason for his return to the philippines is that, once I'm earning at least £18,600 annually, we will go on with our plan to apply for a settlement visa. Therefore, we would not want to upset his immigration history by overstaying. This means he WILL return to the Philippines - otherwise we will be forced to live apart for 10 years! (or I have to move to the Philippines )

Do you think this is a plausable excuse? I mean £78 fee is not nearly as much as £850+ so it wouldn't hurt to try right?

......... on that note, is it also possible for 2 people to sponsor a visit visa? Basically, I will be providing the financial support for the return flight and other fees. Of course I will be supporting him while he is here, but my mom will be the primary sponsor when arrives because she earns more than me and we will be living at home...

    what do you guys think?
