I can remember my Grandmother's hi-light of the week was Wrestling on a saturday afternoon.
I am sure it was Mick McManus that invented the Half Nelson arm grip that got so many submissions.

Les Kellet....hilarious.

As kids we watched it every Saturday afternoon.

Sheer entertainment...as was Eddie Waring and the old-fashioned mud-wrestling eye-gouging and teeth-kicking Rugby League.

Don't forget the Motorbike Scrambling too.

My Grandad would tie in himself in knots reactiing to the goings on..........he had us in stiches, shouting at the TV.......he would go mad if anyone ever suggested it was all a fake
