never tried the one in cebu, u can pay for premium services but it's only to avoid waiting there for hours just to give ur papers and enroll biometrics..

i wasn't really that worried when i applied for my fiancee visa as i've been living here in uk for 3 years as a student and my hubby's got a good job..

    How come?

Manila are quoting several months for settlement visas for October 2012.

Straight forward application, accurate and enough evidence and the rest - I don't know. I'm very thankful indeed that both Fiancé and FLRM have been granted quickly. Hope no more delays on 2013 from UKBA.

For some reason Manila, in October, have been really slow.

40 working days (8 weeks) to process just the first 9% of the total applications that month.

you can only pay for the premium service which allows your darling to submit her visa app in fast track but like what you have heard from the members here your gf needs to wait till the result comes.

indeed true but lets look on the brighter side of the world of its very nice to walk free and not thinking someones after you because ur illegal.

spouse visa (around 2months think or more)
ILR exactly 4 months (application by post)
-i did all the paper works
-submit all the requirements listed in their website
    - BUT i also added all our cards for each other (ex.bday card, valentine, xmas, within 2 years), few pictures together within 2 years
-i did write a letter basically saying we would really appreciate and would be so happy if they grant us the ILR bla bla bla and if you need any information or any thing that you are not sure of please do contact us!
that's it had to wait like 2 months then i got letter from them saying have to do the biometric , then after that just wait for the result. they don't even bother to write to you saying they got your biometric bla bla.....

exactly why give them anymore money!
what we paid is a lot of money and they do not have at least the decency to keep us updated or inform us what is causing the delay,if they already got the biometric data bla bla..
    sure emma's will arrive soon!

    As for mine..
    Fiancee Visa (2011) - 2 weeks
FLR(M) - did it by post and they received my application on March 27, 2012...had biometrics a week after..and as for the result, currently waiting for 15 weeks!!!!
    To update this:
    Fiancee Visa (2011) - 2 weeks
    FLR(M) (27th March 2012-14th Feb. 2013) - 10.5 FREAKING MONTHS!!!

Hopefully in ILR time, it'll just be 1 day only!

    Hi

    Here's my visa application timeline:

Fiancee Visa (Philippines 2011) - 5 working days (Granted on the 12th of Dec 2011 but valid on 12th of March 2012 because of my inability to leave Philippines after March.)

    Here's the painful bit

FLR (United Kingdom 2012 and still waiting)

    -28/08/2012 - Posted my FLR(M) Application
-12/02/2013 - enrolled my Biometrics in Leeds
-?????? (who knows) - still waiting for almost 6 months now.
UKBA,UKBA I am dreading to hear from you...
UKBA, a BRP for Christmas will do...

Looks like Rayna is tempted to use the Super Premium Service. Hope this struggle will be over soon! In my birthday - (27th of March) I'll wish for your biometrics will have arrived.

VFS do not decide on Visa's.
All visa applications are sent to the British Embassy (Manila Hub) for processing and decisions.
Applications from Cebu will be sent to Manila.
