Spouse Visa
Online application and payment 31/01/2013
Submission/Biometrics VFS Cebu 07/02/2013
Documents received Manila 11/02/2013
Visa granted 25/03/2013
Visa and original documents received 27/03/2013 via DHL
So I reckon that's 30 working days including approximately 3 days for consideration by the Isle of Man Immigration Office in our case.
I wonder if waiting times would suddenly go back to worst again now that Theresa May said that UKBA would be scrapped..![]()

...When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible...
Spouse Visa - 21 days
ILR by PEO in Solihull - 28 days
BRP card 28 days
Return of docs 28 days...
Life as we make it
Spouse visa (Philippines) = 5 days (02/2011)
ILR: documents sent by post and delivered to Durham 05/04/2012, received application acknowledgment letter dated 10/04, received biometrics letter dated 15/04, biometrics done 19/04.
I do hope it won't be long. I'm itching for a holiday abroad.
Why do you think you cannot travel abroad?
As long as you have a valid passport you can travel.
Many place you can visit without a visa. (even Prague in EU)
Many places need a visa but plenty of folks here have done it.
It's just the same whether you have Spouse Visa or ILR. No difference.
Take a chance to go for it. Some great help here for you![]()
Congratulations!![]()

Hello everyone! finally found this thread! I have posted this information on a new thread but I thought I'd post this here as well. I recently applied for ILR SET(M) visa at Solihull PEO last May 15, 2014. The whole process took 2 hours and 30 minutes. Visa was approved. What surprised me was the waiting time for my new biometric card. I was told it would arrive 7-10 days and I just received mine today, that is the 4th day from my application not counting Saturday and Sunday. Very efficient indeed!
An update:
Indefinite Leave to Enter for my daughter and family Visit visa for my Mum = 47 working days![]()
''Don't be serious..Be Sincere''
Settlement visa for marriage granted after 20 working days since date of application. We applied 16th July 2014![]()
I hope we don't have problems in applying for FLR after our wedding in November this year.![]()
