FLR (ILR) Processing Times UK Visa

On the freedom of information web site questions have been asked about visa processing times in the UK. They have just answered the questions and you can find the full details here: FLR Processing Times

Although it's FLR specific, I'd say it pretty much covers ILR as well.

    Interesting, thank you for posting.

Question: Apart from cost, is there a reason more people not opt for the priority/VIP option for their application? It looks like it is available to most of us.

Priority is about 40% more in costs, and visa's these days are already well overpriced compared to other countries. On top of that even the supposed 'quicker' option can take over a week

Thats how i read it too Keith, we are still waiting having submitted an FLR application in April which appears to fly in the face of their average processing time. We didnt use their priority service as I think £561 plus almost £20 for biometrics is more than enough to pay and should entitle everyone to a reasonably quick service for what is little more than a formality as long as the correct paperwork is supplied.
