Just a question guys. If my wife is pregnant do I still have to earn a extra £2400 a year to bring him or her over here?

    Andy, don't worry about that.
The new financial requirement will not apply to a child who is a British citizen.

Andy, as soon as possible after his/her birth, try to get the paperwork done (C2 form) for getting his British Passport. It is not a difficult process to follow. If he/she holds his/her British passport, you are exempt from the extra salary.
