He can extend his visa there in the Phils...walang probleme.![]()
he will get his 21 days free visa on arrival, he can pay to extend at the imigration office at the airport on arrival, i cant remember cost now, someone will know, its about (3,030peso) and extends the 21 days to 59 days, not sure exact on days without looking it up, just to give you a quick idea for now
He can get a Visa from the Philippine Embassy in UK
or he can enter Philippines for 21 days without any visa and just pay for extensions at an immigration office when he's there.
Here's the general Visa Information page for a UK application.
Here is the form for Application For Non-Immigration Visa together with guidance notes and fees
Here's some good information on Visa Extension Fee's from the The Bureau of Immigration in Philippines website.
And more useful information can be found here too. (also from The Bureau of Immigration)
I hope you won't mind if I just make some comment on the overall plan you both appear to be following.
Have either of you considered the potential visa application impacts of him actually staying in the Philippines for 6 months?
I'm really thinking about how your fiance sees himself being able to meet the Financial Requirements given that solid evidence is needed to either prove a gross income of £18600 prior to application (with pay slips and bank statements etc) or
when he's returning with the applicant to the UK to work, he must have solid evidence of confirmed salaried employment in UK (starting within 3 months of return).
This employment must have an annual starting salary sufficient to meet the financial requirement applicable to the application.(currently £18600 for a couple)
Sorry to get of topic with that, just trying to help with the bigger picture.
i really appreciate your advise, thats why im so confused now cos my fiance got only seasonal work thats why he wants to stay here longer and he get only disability help allowance in the government, his wages in his seasonal work is not going to his bank, and his boss dont gve him payslip cos this is not a proper job they said, and what will happen if my fiance dont get the 18,6000 requirements in applying for spouse visa, pls pls help us what is the nice way for us to do,thanks
Please take some time to read this guide here
Take a careful look at the Financial Requirements and possible exemptions for those in receipt of certain benefits.
In the case that your fiance could successfully secure exemption, he would still need to prove sufficient funds (maintenance) to support you both in UK without recourse to public funds.Exemption from the financial requirement
Where the applicant’s partner is in receipt of Carer’s Allowance or any of the following disability-related benefits in the UK, the applicant is exempt from the new financial requirement in respect of that application stage:
Disability Living Allowance.
Severe Disablement Allowance.
Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.
Attendance Allowance.
To evidence their exemption the applicant must provide:
Official documentation from HMRC confirming the applicant’s partner’s entitlement and the amount received.
At least one bank statement showing payment of the benefit or allowance into an account in the name of the applicant’s partner.
In principle this means having the current Income Support benefit level in income after deduction of housing costs.
Currently for a couple the target income amount after deduction of housing costs will be £111.45 per week
Really hope this helps you both.
Good Luck
