just put in dyson fan on google and up it came did not look at the name but looked the same i shall try again, could have been called byson, just a copy

If my memory serves me correctly, a few years ago Dysons switched their manufacturing base from the UK to India to take advantage of cheap labour costs but they still seem to charge top dollar for their products.

Malaysia I think you'll find Malchard . Best vac I've ever bought though, a bargain £110 in Costco 7 years ago. Dyson wrote adding another 2 years foc warranty to the two it came with so they must trust their products. A shame though that great British inventions are made abroad.

I have one of the floor standing bladeless fans. It is great. However, don't expect it to be silent - the motor is but the sheer physics of squeezing air through a small gap means there is a blowing noise.

Top Tip: If you need a new vacuum, then find an old knackered Dyson. I have a Dyson vacuum cleaner which is about 14 years old, it was a bit tired and I thought of replacing it. Someone told me about a service Dyson offer - around £75 inc. Vodka for a full service. During the service they replace all worn parts - mine is now basically a new vacuum with new motor, handle, cable, brushes, wheels and some more bits I forget. Dealtastic.

I stand to be corrected having just searched in wikipedia but it is a shame as its hard to understand why he couldnt find a suitable manufacturing site in the UK still as we know this country is not the manufacturing base it was when I was young, profit before people will always win I guess
