Ideal car for a Filipina ?

    The MINI !

Born in 1959. The original and still the best.

    Most importantly though...they FIT Filipinas.

No reaching for the pedals and hubby can drive it too...even a 6 footer +.

Cute, economical, cheap to insure and maintain and going UP in value every year.

Oh, and don't forget, just like the missis, they're loveable and FUN !

    .

Edited to say (ref Smart car): You can also get 4 people in it !

Ideal car for a Filipina ?

I put my details into www.select-a-car-o-matic and these are the options that were thrown out that best suited my needs and abilities

if my first choice was economy and fashion (retro) then this is my statement car Reliant Robin
    http://www.awesomeoff.com/entries/re...obin-3180.html

    *pink paint optional/extra/ additonal £25

2nd choice speed and agility / road holding then it has to be the Bond Bug
    http://images.businessweek.com/ss/09...50_years/8.htm
    * the bond bug was a bit like the ''model T'' ..you can have any color as long as its orange

3rd choice , I reloaded the select-o-matic but this time I uploaded my euro credentials but I was only presented by one choice,...the Messerschmitt KR 200
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:19...mitt_KR200.jpg

later, I recieved an email from a third party connected to the select-o-matic website, I was informed that on my last choice I could have also have the infamous ''bubble car'' but the website was not allowed to mention this vehicle becoz it was built in the UK and would have been discriminatory against Germany and France as they are the most important people in the world according to them

I saw a few lined up outside the dealers the other day - only £29000. It's a con - Toyota made in Japan and Aston Martin add the badge and a couple of other bits & bobs

We have a Toyota Vios 1.5 in Phils right now. Its not flash or racey, but it is a nice family size. Both me and my wife drive it. Charie is only 5ft but can reach the pedals ok. I really want a four wheel drive Toyota so I can take more 'rustic' roads if I buy another one in Phils though.

Rose wanted a yellow Hummer (that's what living/driving around Dubai does to you!), but then she saw the roads over here, and that it costs £90 to fill the tank on my BMW. Suddenly she seems to like my suggestion of a Smart car or a Fiat Panda for a first car now LOL!

Whatever the car, it has to be yellow. Oh great.

For use in the province I'd always wanted to build one of these.

Just get the chassis fabricated to my design and then bolt the rest on.

Come on, chaps, we all know the real answer...

it's a big 4x4, think Toyota Land Cruiser, with shiny aftermarket wheels, good aircon, a stereo, bull bars, extra lights... and a driver.

Well, that's one of many I've owned (also before I restored it).

It does have a colour, though not clear in that light. 'Rose Taupe'...a euphemism for 'mucky brown'.

    1966, D-Reg.

I later bought her a Mini City Auto...which I also re-built, including lots of new panels.
