Unlike the UK, where it seems to be constantly, the Philippines has TWO seasons - known locally as the 'Wet Season' and the 'Dry Season' ... BOTH of which tend to be very humid (as my friends have explained) rather than searingly hot - but with plenty
during the latter. Tropical storms are apt to occur [fairly] frequently in Luzon - albeit seldom travel towards Mindanao in the south.
