    We got the Visa :)

    Ok, so great news!
My beautiful fiance had the appointment on Weds 11th July at the British Embassy in Manila to submit all the documents and have her Biometrics done.
We used an agency to deal with all the documents and arrange appointments etc...the agent put a travel date of October on the application form, saying that it is around 2-3 months turn around for visa application at present, anyway Saturday 21st Zuzy my fiance collected the results from postal service with our Fiance visa approved!!! We are over the moon, but just one final test...visa not valid until October 1st, so counting down the days until I can go to Manila to bring my beautiful Fiance back home with me, bit of a bummer with the date, I have asked if the date could be bought forward but no go.
So were both just counting down the days!
I fly to Manila, leaving saturday 29th Sept, arrive Sunday stay the night and we both fly back Monday 1st, tickets all booked and paid for

1st October was the date my wife flew to the UK. She got the visa just 2 weeks earlier.

Uplifting news, indeed! Nathan ... I've just noticed you joined this site back in April! I somehow managed to miss your introductory thread at that time. Congratulations to you and Zuzy on successfully obtaining your fiancee's visa, good luck with the wedding plans and a belated [from me] to our friendly, online filipino/uk community.

Thanks for the reminder, Zuzy will be in Manila for the week before we fly to the UK, luckily her sister lives in Manila so she will stay with her.
    Requirements asked for:
2 valid ID’s (either NBI, SSS, TIN, Postal ID)
    2. NSO Birth Certificate (original and photocopy)
    3. Your valid passport
    4. Photocopy of your Fiancé passport
    5. Pictures (proof of having met person) at least 5 photos
    6. Payment - Php 650.00.

The only worry I have is:
Registration start at 7:30AM (First come, first serve basis) first 15 person only.

Zuzy assures me she will be there for 6AM haha, I have said without it she will not beable to fly to the UK on the 1st October.
So hopefull all should go to plan.

    Hello,
We were going to try and do it all ourselves, but after reading how difficult its getting lately to get a Visa for the UK, I was recommended to use an agency, this one in particular.
    Enhance visa services inc.
Based in Cebu, but luckily for us they have an office in Dumaguete, so as Zuzy lives in Basay which is around 120 kilometeres away it all worked out very well.
I visited in May and submitted all the documents, then sent the last few items via e-mail when I returned to the UK.

If you want all the contact info please let me know and I will forward it to you, total fee for the agency was around £700.

WOW That is how much we paid in the UK. I thought perhaps it might be a bit cheaper in the Philippines...

    Hiya there love!

Kindly check this website for CFO. I am not 100% sure if they changed schedules or whatsoever. If they didnt changed any schedule then she'll be alright as they do 3 counselling sessions per day, requirements are also there. I stayed in the nearest hotel (10 min walk) and was the very first applicant in the centre!!

Anyway, I had my CFO G&C there and got me sticker in the same location. Have a look.
