    visa question

just want some answer with my question please....so we submit the docs to vfs,who then forwarded it to British Embassy then they will review it....who will issue the visa then?here or UK?almost 4 weeks now since i submitted my docs and never heard anything,my hubby says maybe bcoz of the olympics and now it's over maybe they can do their job again

I thought it will be easier for them to review and process the docs and issue the visa with the new rules but im getting frustrated...

My impression is that the visa application remains in the UKBA, Manila and is issued by them and doesn't go back to London. No doubt someone will correct me if I am wrong.

On elapsed time. Quite a number of people relatively recently, have waited over a month for their visa. A month can be quite typical.

Maybe the ECOs are getting used to the new rules themselves ....
