Careful, Joe ... we wouldn't want to be responsible for the adverse effect news like this is likely to have on Dedworth's blood pressure!

Unfortunately its SCUM like this that give the unemployed a bad name and the blacks a bad name.

I know ive said my bit about the idle unemployed before but, really I know most are doing their best to find.

You wanna gaff like that Joe..just put in for a council exchange for the said borough...im sure you'll get some interest

But the truth is she is entitled to it, don't blame her, blame the system.

I agree Ricky....of course they are entitled...not a problem with that....in fact, these types of houses are regularly let out by landlords via the council system..the borough of Fulham and Chelsea are full of them.

I regularly pass through that area at night ..its a strange sight seeing these grand houses being filled with dope smoking rasta's sparked out on there front patio.

My point is, it doesn't give them rights to trash the houses.

Absolutely correct Ricky but this is the reason my wife cant get over here. They are the ones they are targeting to stop coming into the country but everyone has to suffer.. And she is not on her own there is thousands ripping the system off. Working guys like me and Hawk dont stand a chance while this is going on.

    1. Correct any EU national can bring their wife and family here without paying for a visa.
    2. You cant gain entry to the country just because you bring your wife to amsterdam. You would need a visa for your wife and family to visit Amsterdam.

Consider, she is now evicted, now what? Has that solved the problem? No of course not. We do have a responsibility as a relatively wealthy nation to assist people in need, however it is clear in this situation that the councils/government are in cloud cuckoo land when providing a house like that.
Appropriate housing should be provided OUTSIDE London, people should be provided with a combination of food coupons and some money until they get themselves sorted.

The lady is right, she is entitled to the house. But who entitled her? Our councils and government, she's just milking the system as are so many people who can in the UK, British or Foreign.

I'm not sure how the government expects a woman who has come from the poorest and deprived parts of Palestine to suddenly be able to know how to behave in a ridiculously expensive house and area.

The problem isn't the immigrants, its the government policies.

How would you do that Joe? Give us a example. Would the sponsor have to quit the uk and live in another country?

Much easier to buy her a ticket Manila/Some Toilet State/London and instruct her to destroy her passport on the final leg then on arrival at LHR play the can't rememember name/nationality/age asylum game. She'll be given a nice flat by Hillingdon Council

I expect she got the knowledge from the good ol internet.

Some seem to think giving houses of this calibre to council tennants are uncommon....its not!

Its just most people are good hard working law abiding types who keep there heads down and get on with life...black and white while living in there council given mansions.

Like I said before..if ya dont like the council housing where you are now...put in for an exchange the Fulham and Chelsea borough council....you gotta be in it to win it

I may not always be smart enough or on the same wavelength to fully understand what gWaPito is saying.
But on this one I do fully understand and fully agree. It's spot on. Believe it.

Not enough words can describe my feelings on this. It's bloody disgraceful, and only the local residents can go to their town hall to be heard.
People like this just need to be rebounded back to where they came from so that a fully paid up Brit can at least be cared for.
Personally I have very strong views which are probably not printable and probably racist - coming from an immigrant (who's paid good taxes all his working life) and got squat when I needed it..

No, I frankly don't give a "donald" about her!

It's the likes of her, and the rest of the buy to letters who are hoovering up homes in respectable areas, and letting them out to transient people who would not care as much about the area and neighbours they are in, and are destroying the community feel in many parts of our towns and cities.

I bet SHE doesn't live next to a let house.

Actually the landlord concerned didn't max amount of monthly she could of got for her house...she took the safe route and went through the council...ie: she knew she was gonna get an income without fail over an agreed set time...where I live, the council take on sole agreements over a minimum 10 year period.

I have sympathy for the landlord...she didn't know the council were gonna let to low life (house trashers).

Really, better to take a leaf out of Ded's book and write to your MP's...and for goodness sakes vote!....it should be made a legal obligation...its shameful the amount that turn out....you not even gotta turn out, you can vote by post.

    I agree.

Also, don't forget that all the council tenants who are booted out (anti-social behaviour etc) are re-housed in private rented, so you'll find streets of such accommodation that are worse than some of the roughest council estates.

Not all landlords are the grasping Rigsby type

I got work colleagues who let to the council because its safe money....interest rates have been falling for years...what better place to put your money..in bricks mortar and let.

Im assuming this was a council let, if so the owner will be compensated.

Terpe, that's me, the latter....coupled with bad judgement equals...well you can guess.

Chin up and keep on battling
