Hi what is the requirements to apply for citizenship? I was granted for my ILR febuary this year and thinking to apply citizenship after 1 year. Hubby just thinks its easier to go holiday in other countries if am british...but a friend of mine told me one of the requirements is to do 100 hours community or public service before you can apply. Is it true? any advice will be greatly appreciated.

i was also shocked lol...but she said she booked her self already to work in charity shops for her community service lol...so just wondering if its true before i will do community service my self and clean the public toilets lol
