Aye...I think a lot gets lost in translation on this forum.

    For all the Filipinas reading:

'Fill yer boots' is a British slang expression meaning 'take full advantage' or 'help yourself to the big harvest etc, while there is the chance'.

Nothing to do with pissing into your boots.

    I'm trying to be helpful.

There are a lot of Filipinas viewing the forum to whom the frequent use of slang, colloquialisms and 'in' jokes by the Brits must be very confusing and possibly off-putting.

Perhaps we could give them a little more consideration when they are contributing to a thread ?

    It's actually quite a serious topic...especially for those considering a Filipina as a life-partner.

You need to be SENSITIVE to such things.

No, I'm talking about what is written.

Anyway, take it as you wish.

    Fair point.

    To Rhose.

To be honest, I would have offered some anecdotal advice, but my wife wouldn't have appreciated it being put out on a forum. Suffice to say she is from a religious background etc etc but she has been great and relaxed etc etc. But I feel I have helped her feel relaxed. Its a two way street.

To be honest, this is a very serious subject for some people, possibly many of the ladies from the Philippines, more than us guys in the west. I think Rhose has been very brave to approach such a delicate and private subject and has honestly asked for real help. Unfortunately, 'we' cannot give advice as such because it is between Rhose and her husband. It is difficult to direct someone to a publication that can help..

I do have a good friend in Singapore who has written and published a book all about this very subject and can direct anyone to his contact details. Just pm me. Might be very helpful for you Rhose. I do have a few copies myself.
