I've found that generally the "advice" they give out is total and utter b*ll*cks.
... so paying for it ????????????????
Additionally, any that they give out advice should be on the FSA register.
Ask to see their name highlighted on the FSA's website before you even start a conversation with them.

Additionally, if they promise something, or you ask them to interprete something (like a clause or condition), get them to write it down & sign it.
If they're not prepared to do that... walk out the door.
