Not sure I would call this a 'budget tablet', it is manufactured by ASUS - who have a much better reputation for quality than Foxconn.

The basic iPad costs Apple less than £100 to produce. Apple then slap on £300 profit and sell it to mugs with more money than sense.

The production cost of this tablet is probably not dissimilar, but Google have decided to treat its customers with a bit more respect and not screw every last penny out of them.

Samsung is a way cooler company than Apple, they don't treat their customers like mugs (as much), and can you really imagine Samsung......or frankly ANY other company being so damned arrogant as to dismiss their customers, telling them just to hold their phones a different way, when it turns out their overpriced, overhyped pile of locked junk has a serious antenna design fault?

So ok, Apple are innovative and do produce good kit, but there is better cheaper elsewhere. You only need to directly compare an ipod sound quality to the sound quality on the Sony mp3 player, it is vastly.......and I mean vastly superior

Yes i have a iphone and its original not just a copy of another companies phone

Samsung seem to bring out a new phone every other month so you are only going to have the latest model for a short while

Anyway the iphone 5 will be out soon and lets see how Samsung goes about making a copy of that
