Ilr apointments

just tried to book a apointment for the ilr at sheffield the premium service, the dates we entered was oct 9th through to nov 5th and no dates are available, we tried birmingham, then liverpool, infact we tried all 7 places even belfast and none have any places, any surgestions what to do next, we did all this online, will it make a differance if we try to ring

i thought there would be plenty of spaces open because of the higher price, just have to keep trying or just end up posting everything and save us some money, but more stress

Why dont you use the Settlement checking service? its about £80 and they photocopy everything for you AND check you have all the right documents and check everything is filled in correctly and the correct payment is made. They then post it on to UKBA to arrive next day. At least then you have some peace of mind that someone else has checked it and everything is included.
When we did my wifes earlier in May, we hadnt included all the documents in joint names covering the two year period. However we took to themeeting ANYTHING with my wifes name and our addresss. With the help of the staff we were able to 'fill the gaps' and give a full 2 year record. IMHO its well worth the extra money.
We havnt yet heard if wehave ILR but have had acknowledgment letter after 2 weeks and have done biometrics so hopefully it should be soon.
....but whats the hurry........we will still be here!

thanks again, just been on the derby city council site and they do it, £60 and its where we got married, i shall call them tomorrow to aranged a apointment

no wonder it takes longer than usual those who sent their application through post. Got confirmation letter 4 days after i posted my application..thats when the cheque cleared by our bank. then biometric after 6 weeks.
